Nana Agyenim Boateng I is the Traditional Ruler of Amoaman in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District in Ashanti Region. He is well versed in Operational Management and logistics especially in the general supply chain. He began his career and experiences in the logistics and supply chain as Traffic officer in the Produce Buying Company of the Ghana Cocoa Board and rose through the ranks to become operations manager in charge of Haulage Department where he planned, supervised and monitored the purchases and evacuation of the entire purchase of annual cocoa production by Ghana Cocoa Board. Nana Agyenim Boateng I was from October 2000 to 2006, the Managing Director of Global Haulage Company Ltd a leading Transport and logistics Company and the sole Shareholder of the following; licensed cocoa buying companies;
Federated Commodities, Transroyal Company Ltd, Cocoa Merchant ltd Royal Commodities Ltd. Here he managed the entire operations and evaluation of the cocoa Purchases of the above companies between 80,000 to 110000 tons per annum.
He was appointed as the Deputy Managing Director of Operations at PBC Ltd from the year 2006-2016 and Ag. Chief Executive Officer from January 2017 to August 2017.
Nana Boateng resigned and joined Cocoa Processing Company Ltd in September 2017 as the Managing Director until March, 2023.
He is currently the Managing Director and the Sole shareholder of Boateng Abusua Product Trading, a cocoa procession firm.

He is a distinguished professional with nearly three decades of service in Ghana’s cocoa industry, particularly with PBC PLC. His career, which spanned from 1989 to 2017, was marked by a steady rise through leadership roles driven by dedication, operational expertise, and commitment to excellence.
He joined PBC PLC in 1989 as a District Manager, where he led cocoa sourcing and farmer engagements at grassroot level. In 2003, he was promoted to Deputy Regional Manager, and subsequently rose to become a Regional Manager in 2007, overseeing the coordination of multiple District’s operational planning and Regional performance management.
In 2016, Mr Gaisie asumed the Directorship position as Chief Manager, contributing to national-level strategy and operations coupled with strong leadership, which later earned him the position as Acting Deputy Chief Executive (Operation) in 2017, and played a key role in overseeing PBC’s core Cocoa sourcing and logistic functions.
